Twenty years ago, branch member Lydia Brown left a bequest of $7,000 to the branch to help “worthy graduate women at CU.” Since then, AAUW members Elizabeth Ricketts and Berny Udick have added gifts to the grant fund. Each year, the Boulder Branch provides several monetary awards from the interest from this endowment to University of Colorado graduate women.
Congratulations to our 2012 Grant winners:
Morgan Hill – Studies Mechanical Engineering and plans to be a biochemical engineer
Ifi Okoye – Studies Computer Science and plans to set up a research lab in Nigeria
Christie Sennott – Studies Sociology and plans to continue doing research projects involving women and HIV/Aids in Africa
All attend the University of Colorado at Boulder.
We will be awarding three grants again in 2013. Watch this space, the application period will open late Spring.
Separate from our local grant, AAUW offers Fellowships and Grants on the national level.

I am an international student who has been admitted by UC boulder, but I am still in China, How can I have the advisor’s signature?

Things that have worked for me in the past: filling the form out then faxing it to the person whose signature I need, they sign it, and then fax it back to me.
Or, filling it out, scanning it to make and electronic document, email that, they print it out, sign it, scan it, then send it back.

I am wondering if this organization is offering this scholarship again for the 2013 term and if so where I might find the application. Thank you for your time.
