Boulder Branch

Our branch hosts a variety of personal enrichment interest groups. Membership in AAUW is required for continuing involvement with these interest groups, except where noted, though guests are welcome. Meetings run on AAUW’s Program-Year calendar, beginning in September and running through June, with a break over the summer. To find out more click the group’s title.

Great Decisions
Our only non-exclusive interest group, Great Decisions is a nationally sponsored discussion group on international affairs and global concerns, which a high number of Boulder AAUW members participate in.

LaCuisine
La Cuisine is AAUW’s dinner club. We meet on the second Saturday of the month, October – June, with a September planning meeting for the year. The host and co-host for each meeting provide attendees with a set of recipes for the meal and an assignment to make one to bring to the party.

Partner Bridge
People come together to play bridge, socialize, and to win. Meets the first Friday of the month.

Women’s Afternoon Bridge

Women come together to play a game of cards, socialize, and win. Meets the third Tuesday of the month.

Playgoers
An evening at the theater with good company.

Sunday Night Non-Fiction Book Group A discussion group exploring the wide possibilities of the non-fiction genre. Meets once a month.

Bookies
A large book discussion group, the monthly reading selections are chosen from among all genres, with review and discussion lead by a rotating master of ceremonies.

Mahjong
A new, small group of players for both Asian and American Mahjong, hosted by a rotating master of ceremonies.
