Membership in AAUW: Boulder Branch, Colorado
As an AAUW member, you’ll be proud to know you belong to a nationwide group of persons of diverse cultures, backgrounds, perspectives, and professions who value education, information, and equal rights; who are contributing to a more promising future for all women and girls; and who together provide a powerful voice for women and girls – a voice that cannot and will not be ignored.
Boulder Branch is now in the membership renewal period, for program year 2012-2013 (August to May). Those wishing to become new members may join using the same form, selecting the membership level they desire. The due date for renewal is June 1, 2012.
There is no due date for first-time membership, but getting the form in by June 1 ensures that you are on the member email lists, and in the member directories, and getting your information from National right from the beginning of the program year.

Who Can Join?
If you hold an associate or equivalent, bachelor, or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university, you can join AAUW as an individual (member-at-large) or as a member of one of AAUW’s many branches across the United States. Branch members also belong to the national organization.
If you are an undergraduate in a two- or four-year regionally accredited educational institution, you can join as a student affiliate of a branch of a student affiliate-at-large.

- Annual dues for 2011-2012 are: National Dues $49, State Dues $10, Boulder Branch Dues $8 for a total of $67.
- Student affiliate dues for 2011-2012 are: Student Affiliate Fee $17, State $5, Boulder Branch $6 for a total of $28.
Boulder Branch AAUW members receive the bi-monthly branch newsletter, and all AAUW Colorado and national AAUW information.

In principle and practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class.

Print and fill out the form, then mail it in with your dues check. Or, you are invited to bring both to our Kick-off meeting in September. (Sept 12, 3 – 5pm, at the Koenig Alumni Center on the CU-Boulder campus, map available from the Events page), and meet us before committing. It promises to be a great afternoon, and I hope to see you there.

I have just uploaded the 2010-2011 membership year form. Print it, fill it out, and you are cordially invited to bring the form and your dues check to our Kick-off meeting on Sept. 12 (3-5pm, at the Koenig Alumni Center on the CU-Boulder campus). The Interest Groups, including the book clubs, will be present, and getting folks signed up to participate in those clubs that strike their fancy.

Please help. I am with Loveland Branch of AAUW – my computer has crashed and I lost all my contact information for the Boulder Branch.
